Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out what campaigns are and are not allowed on Fundly, and how to report a campaign that you believe breaks these rules.
Allowed campaigns
Fundly is for legitimate fundraising by K-12 schools and affiliated organizations. Campaigns may solicit donations for the organization, sell goods or services whose proceeds benefit the organization, or invite supporters to register for events. Every campaign must be created by an authorized adult on behalf of a verified organization.
Prohibited campaigns
The following are not allowed: raffles, sweepstakes, drawings, or any chance-based prize promotion; campaigns that misrepresent how funds will be used; campaigns for the personal enrichment of an individual rather than the organization; the sale of unsafe, illegal, age-inappropriate, or counterfeit goods; content that harasses, threatens, or discriminates; and any campaign that violates applicable law. Fundly may add to this list as new risks emerge.
Student content rules
When students appear in a campaign, an adult advisor is responsible for obtaining any required parental consent and for reviewing the content before it is published. On any page that a guest (a non-signed-in visitor such as a donor, buyer, or parent) can reach, Fundly shows only a student's display name (for example, "Alex M.") — never a full name, an email address, or a photo of the minor. Uploads that would expose a minor's full name, email, or photograph on a guest-reachable surface are not allowed; the advisor or org admin is responsible for the content that is published. If a parent asks for a student's information to be removed, the organization will do so promptly.
Reporting violations
Every live campaign page has a Report link. Reports go to a human review queue, with child-safety concerns prioritized. If you see something that puts a child at risk or appears to be fraud, email [email protected] with the campaign URL and a short description.
Enforcement
We review every credible report. Outcomes range from a written warning to campaign removal, organization suspension, or termination. Where required, we report suspected child-safety issues to the appropriate authorities. Repeated or serious violations end the organization's access to Fundly.
