Pricing

One flat fee to launch. No percentage, ever.

Fundly never takes a percentage of donations or sales. You pay one flat fee when you launch a campaign, and that is the only amount Fundly keeps. Stripe, our payment provider, charges its standard card-processing fee per transaction, which is paid out of your organization’s funds — not added on top of what supporters give.

How the launch fee is set

Choose the campaign mode that fits the work. The fee is shown to the organization admin on the launch screen before any card is charged, so there are no surprises.

Standard campaigns

The greater of $10 or $2 per active student on the campaign roster. Use it for donation drives, online stores, and any multi-week effort where students are signed up.

Formula: max($10, $2 × enrolled students).

Event mode

A flat $15.00 for short, time-boxed campaigns — a single ticket sale, a one-day table, an intermission pop-up. No per-student charge.

No roster needed.

Worked examples

Same formula, different roster sizes. The launch fee is set when you launch; it does not change with what you raise.

Standard-mode launch fee, computed as the greater of $10 or $2 per enrolled student.
Roster sizeLaunch fee
25 students$50.00
50 students$100.00
100 students$200.00
Event mode (any size)$15.00

The only other cost: standard card processing

Stripe, our payment processor, charges a small per-transaction fee — typically around 2.9% + 30¢per card charge. That is the same fee charged by any online checkout, and it is paid out of the organization’s own connected account, not added on top of what a supporter gives.

Fundly adds nothing on top. The full donation or purchase amount goes to your organization; Stripe deducts its standard processing fee from your payout; the launch fee is the only amount Fundly keeps.

Fundly vs a typical percentage platform

Fundly’s fee is set by your roster size, not by what you raise. On larger fundraisers the difference is substantial. The “5% platform” column below uses a typical 5% rate common in the industry; it is a reference figure, not the price of any specific competitor.

First campaign free

Every new organization on Fundly can launch its first campaign at no charge. The discount is applied at the launch step as a one-time FIRSTFREE credit against the standard launch fee. No percentage is taken from donations or sales on top.

To redeem, the organization admin enters the code FIRSTFREEin the “Have a code?” field on the launch screen before paying. The fee updates immediately; if the credit covers the full fee the campaign launches without a card charge. Standard Stripe card-processing fees still apply on donations and orders as usual.

Program terms may be revised. This page describes the program as it operates today; the launch screen is the source of truth at the moment of redemption.
